Beetlejuice is back and haunting a brand-new house, featuring an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld. Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of the strange and unusual teenager, Lydia Deetz who is dealing with her mother’s death and her neglectful father. When the Deetz’s move into their new home, the last thing they expected was for the previously deceased owners to still be there, not to mention the devious bio-exorcist ghost named Betelgeuse, with a thing for stripes… now all Betelgeuse needs is for someone, living, to say his name three times… The Deetz’s want their house ghost free, the Maitland’s want their house, and lives back, and poor Lydia is stuck being pulled from all three sides! In all, a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!
