The story

The story, touching on the vulnerability of teenage boys to roughness and anguish, the socio-economic struggles the working-class youth are faced with, the pangs and passions of being young, strife, teen angst, and, of course, romance, made it to the stage of the La Jolla Playhouse in 2023, and opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Broadway in 2024.

Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the 1960s, ‘The Outsiders’ follows the story of Ponyboy Curtis and two nemesis gangs divided according to their socio-economic status..
