Rossen Milanov

Columbus Symphony Conductor, Rossen Milanov, leads the symphony in performances of symphonies, concertos, chamber music, and opera throughout the country and abroad. He currently serves as the Music Director of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and has appeared with many of the major symphony orchestras in the country, in addition to more than a hundred other music organizations. Mr. Milanov has gained a reputation for his profound understanding of the expressive core of music of all styles and periods, bringing audiences to every performance, his full energy and emotion. His innovative programming, which often combines classical music with other styles and genres, has been widely praised by audiences and critics alike. He has received critical acclaim for his performances of the Romantic era, as well as for his fresh approaches to more contemporary repertoire. In addition to his career as a conductor, Rossen Milanov has been the recipient of several grants from the National Endowment for the Arts.
